Zug Fintech Joins European Wealth-Tech Group
The Etops Group has joined a software consolidator for wealth and asset management with immediate effect.
The group was established in December 2023 with support from the British asset manager Pollen Street Capital. With over 300 employees, the group serves more than 550 clients across the financial services spectrum, including banks, wealth managers, financial advisors, and insurance companies in Germany, Switzerland, and other continental European markets.
Name to Be Decided by End of 2024
In addition to the Zug-based Etops Group, the group includes companies such as Fundsaccess, FundHero, as well as Patronas and DSER (both via niiio Finance Group), according to a statement. The modular end-to-end technology solutions cover the entire wealth management value chain, enabling clients to enhance their customer experience and digitize and optimize their core processes.
The parties have agreed to keep the transaction details confidential. The group's name will be decided by the end of 2024.
Etops specializes in digital solutions for asset and wealth management. With its platform «etopsOS», the company currently serves around 100 clients in the wealth and asset management sectors. The modular suite offers solutions in data consolidation, portfolio management, CRM, and reporting.
Better Market Opportunities
Pius Stucki, founder of Etops, remains the company's CEO. He emphasizes, «Together, we have a fantastic opportunity to execute on what we believe is a significant opportunity in the DACH market.»
«Pius Stucki and his team have built a strong, client-centric business with great products and culture, which we think will be highly additive to our overall wealthtech growth story», says David Dawson, partner at Pollen Street.
