Valartis Financial Group Bounces Back from Last Year’s Losses
Valartis Group expects a net profit of 8 to 9 million Swiss francs for the first half of 2024, the financial group announced on Tuesday morning.
These figures are preliminary. The half-year report and the release of the 2024 half-year financial statement are scheduled for August 23, 2024.
Business expenses have decreased
The financial group appears to have regained its footing, showing an improvement compared to the previous year. In the first half of 2023, the company reported a loss of 4.6 million Swiss francs.
According to the announcement, the operational business benefited from contributions by associated companies, while business expenses decreased by a single-digit percentage. The financial result, with a profit of around 4 million Swiss francs, is primarily due to the strengthening of currencies against the Swiss franc and interest income.
Valartis Group is an international financial group headquartered in Fribourg. Its business activities include financial services, real estate project management, and investments.
