Bellevue: After CEO, COO Also Joins From Credit Suisse

In early 2024, former Credit Suisse executive Gebhard Giselbrecht (pictured below) took over the operational leadership of Bellevue Group from André Rüegg, as reported by finews.com. Now, another long-standing CS banker has joined the group’s executive management, the company announced on Thursday.

Fabian Stäbler began as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Bellevue in early July 2024. He has over 20 years of experience in asset management, having worked initially at Swiss Life and then for 15 years at Credit Suisse.

Experience Gained in Singapore

During his career, Stäbler also worked in Singapore, where his colleague and current supervisor, Gebhard Giselbrecht, also spent some time. As announced on Thursday, Bellevue intends to intensify its existing activities in Asia and actively position the Bellevue brand.

Stäbler studied industrial engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (Dipl. Ing. FH).

Thus, Bellevue’s executive management team now consists of Gebhard Giselbrecht (CEO), Markus Peter (Head of Products & Investments), Patrick Fischli (Head of Distribution), Stefano Montalbano (CFO), and Fabian Stäbler (COO).

At the same time, the new role of Key Client Coverage has been introduced to ensure the sustainable management of Bellevue’s most important client relationships, allowing clients to benefit optimally from Bellevue’s full range of services.
