Daniel Bernasconi is appointed as new Chief Information Officer at Twint. The company announced that he will assume his position in August.

His role will focus on advancing the «innovation capabilities of the Swiss payment app at a strategic level,» according to the statement. He will report to CEO Markus Kilb.

Bernasconi previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Finnova, where he led the company's Technology Competence Center, overseeing the development of architecture and technology roadmap enhancements.

He succeeds Simon Wehrli, who is leaving the company after over six years at Twint.
