Julius Baer Appoints Permanent Head for Swiss Market
Patrick Prinz has been announced as the new Head of the Swiss market at Julius Baer, the private bank revealed on Wednesday.
Starting from August 1st, Prinz will assume responsibility for eleven branches of the bank across German- and French-speaking Switzerland in his new role. Previously, this area was overseen on an interim basis by Sonia Gössi, Head of Switzerland & Europe at Julius Baer.
Dual Role Until Year-End
With over 25 years of experience in wealth management, Prinz joined Julius Baer in 2019 as Head of the Germany & Austria market. Prior to this, he served at Bank Pictet & Cie.
Until the end of this year, Prinz will continue to manage the Germany & Austria market alongside his new role as Head of the Swiss market.
«The Swiss home market is of particular importance to Julius Baer. I am very pleased that with Patrick Prinz we have been able to appoint such an experienced and respected banking professional with proven expertise and a long-standing background in wealth management to lead our Swiss market,» said Gössi.
