Coller Capital Expands Swiss Team

Coller Capital, an investor specializing in the secondary market for unlisted shares and other private investments such as private debt, is expanding its team in Switzerland. The company has appointed Roman Eggler as Head of Private Wealth Distribution for the Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (Dach) region. He will be based in Zurich. The team, established just last year, now numbers close to 30 employees.

Eggler was most recently a Managing Director in the Client Solutions Group at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was responsible for the Third Party Wealth Client Business in Switzerland. He has already amassed significant experience in banking and client relationship management, including roles at Deutsche Bank in Asset & Wealth Management for wholesale clients in Switzerland and previously at Polaris Investment Advisory, EWM Global, and IBM Global Business Services.

Zurich: A «Strategic Location»

Boris Maeder, who was recently appointed Head of International Private Wealth Distribution at Coller Capital, welcomed his future subordinate in the press release: «Roman’s arrival is another important step towards establishing ourselves as the leading private market partner for wealthy clients. Roman brings extensive experience in private markets and a vast network of relationships.»

In turn, the newly appointed Eggler paid homage to the Swiss financial center: «With our new strategic location in Zurich, we are excellently positioned to meet the high demand from wealthy private investors for private market secondaries.»
