Norwegian Asset Manager Expands Presence in Switzerland

DNB Asset Management continues its growth trajectory, especially in Switzerland. To be closer to its clients, the team in Switzerland will be expanded, the company announced on Tuesday.

«We see increasing demand for thematic and Nordic investment solutions and are structuring the organization so that we can offer our boutique selection of funds to a broader market,» explains Amra Koluder, Head of International Clients and Distribution.

Subsidiary of the Largest Nordic Financial Group

DNB Asset Management is a leading Nordic asset manager offering products within Nordic asset classes and selected themes. The company is wholly owned by the DNB ASA Group, which is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and is one of the largest Nordic financial groups.

Assets Under Management of 85 Billion Euros

In addition to Switzerland, DNB Asset Management also plans to expand its staff in Spain and France. The number of new positions in each country has not been disclosed.

DNB Asset Management focuses on thematic funds. Forty-nine portfolio managers and analysts in Norway manage over 85 billion euros on behalf of institutional and private clients. They are supported by integrated risk management systems and an ESG team. On the product side, additional investment opportunities will be introduced this year, including a biotech fund and climate bond strategies.
