Ex-Credit Suisse Banker Joins Swiss Banking Group in Lugano

Roberto Cerratti has joined Banca del Ceresio as Head of Investment Services Switzerland, the firm announced in a media release on Monday. The bank belongs to Ceresio Investors, a Swiss group owned by the Swiss-Italian Foglia family in Ticino.

Cerratti comes from Credit Suisse (Switzerland) where he held various specialist positions in private banking until he became Head of Investment Consulting Ticino, in charge of specialist investment consulting for HNWI/UHNWI clients in Switzerland. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and social sciences from the University of Fribourg, where he earned a Ph.D. in econometrics.

Third Generation of Foglia Family

Ceresio Investors represents the Swiss banking group headed by Banca del Ceresio-specializing in wealth management, securities custody, corporate and investment banking, and tax and asset consolidation-founded in 1919 in Milan by Antonio Foglia.

The third generation of the Foglia family is active in Lugano through the parent company Banca del Ceresio; in Milan through Ceresio SIM, Global Selection SGR and Eurofinleading Fiduciaria; and in London with Belgrave Capital Management. The group manages 8.4 billion francs of client assets.
