State Street has appointed Dagmar Kamber Borens as Head of Global Markets for Continental Europe. The US financial group announced this on Monday.

Borens reports to Anthony Bisegna, Head of State Street Global Markets, and Andreas Przewloka, CEO of State Street Bank International, and will be responsible for implementing the Global Markets strategy in Continental Europe.

She will work with key internal stakeholders in Global Markets and Investment Services to «increase revenues as well as build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry associations, and regulators,» according to the statement.

Former UBS and CS Manager

Dagmar Kamber Borens has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She joined State Street in 2021 as Country Head for Switzerland and later expanded her role to lead the custody business in Germany, as well as taking on overall responsibility for the Investment Services business in the Netherlands, Austria, and the Nordics since January 2023.

Previously, she spent more than 17 years at UBS, where she held several leadership positions in Zurich, London, and Singapore, including Group Chief Financial Officer for the Asia-Pacific region, and also served as Chief Operating Officer at Credit Suisse.

In her new role, Kamber Borens will be a member of the Global Markets Executive Management Group. She will retain her current responsibilities as Country Head for Switzerland and remain a member of the Management Committee of Street Bank International.
