Big Shake-Up at Renowned Zurich Investment House

 DCP Client Partner, an investment house specializing in hybrid bonds, has appointed Cindy Eicher as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective June 1, 2024. The company announced this on Wednesday.

Eicher succeeds Sascha Peier, who, according to the announcement, will focus on his role as Head of Fixed Income and Senior Portfolio Manager.

Further Management Changes

In addition to the leadership change, the company is also implementing a new management structure. Mario Contartese also took over as Chief Operating Officer (COO) from Marcel Moog on June 1. Moog is transitioning to the roles of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Risk Officer (CRO).

Eicher has held leadership positions in asset and wealth management at several international and national financial institutions. Her previous positions include roles at Quintet, J.P. Morgan in Zurich, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, and Bank Vontobel. Most recently, she worked as an independent financial and wealth advisor.

Contartese was previously the COO at Globalance Bank and held various positions at UBS before joining DCP Client Partner.

Restructuring to Enhance Efficiency

With the new management structure, DCP Client Partner aims to leverage its existing expertise to accelerate business development. «The increase in operational efficiency and the planned expansion of market presence are intended to support growth targets,» the press release states.

Goal: Expand Presence in Switzerland

Founded in 2004 and based in Zurich, DCP Client Partner is an investment boutique specializing in hybrid bonds, equities plus options for pension funds, family offices, and churches. DCP Client Partner manages client assets totaling approximately 2 billion Swiss francs.

At the end of 2021, the Zurich asset management boutique was acquired by Quaestor Coach, a newly established private market investor based in Zug.
