Credit Suisse is Certainly History at the Asian Investment Conference
The 27th edition of the AIC will attract over 2,000 global institutional investors as well as ultra- and high-net-worth individuals, along with top executives and entrepreneurs from 300 of the most dynamic companies in the Asia-Pacific region.
Among the speakers and the expected 3,000 attendees are prominent figures such as former US Secretary of State John Kerry and Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, as reported by the South China Morning Post.
During the two-day conference on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Four Seasons Hotel, 100 speakers and 50 panel discussions will address various key investment debates such as inflation, politics, growth, and reforms. Micro-topics like generative artificial intelligence, succession, and the future of cities will also be covered.
Upholding Tradition
With the acquisition of Credit Suisse, UBS will continue the 27-year tradition of its former arch-rival in hosting the leading investment conference. Last year, more than 200 corporate representatives and 1,600 investors participated in the 26th and final edition of Credit Suisse’s AIC.
Edmund Koh, President Asia Pacific at UBS, says: «The AIC has earned a reputation for providing cutting-edge insight into what is next for investors in the region, as well as an outstanding networking opportunity. UBS will leverage the AIC platform to craft a new future for this edgy platform.»
