Partners Group has hired four new managing directors for its Americas business this year to work in its Client Solutions Division and working out of New York, the Zug-based private markets investment specialist announced yesterday. 

Jose Mahomar will serve as head of US consultant relations, Lori Pomerantz will have global responsibility for business development in private debt, while Irene Mavroyannis will serve as global co-head of business development private infrastructure, and is considered a top rainmaker in the field with over 30 years of experience. Finally, Annie Hsieh has been named senior asset class manager of private real estate.

North American New Money

Mahomar spent 18 years at the fund unit of Goldman Sachs. Pomerantz also worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, while Mavroyannis most recently worked for Sera Global, Brookfield Asset Management's real assets advisory platform. Hsieh led capital formation activities at firms including Elm Tree Funds and Five Mile Capital.

North America, meanwhile, is Partners Group's most important market for new business. In 2022, 53 percent of all investment commitments came from the region, according to the firm, accounting for over $28 billion in assets under management.
