Earlier this week UBS announced it would complete the takeover of Credit Suisse this coming Monday, leading to speculation it would delay publication of its interim results scheduled for July 25 given the complicated nature of the transaction.

The speculation has been confirmed with the results now planned for release on August 31.

The additional time allows UBS to present investors and the public consolidated business figures, a spokesman for the bank confirmed to the news agency «AWP».
