Swissquote will propose that Esther Finidori become a member of the board of directors at the online bank's upcoming annual general meeting. She is currently the vice president of strategy at Schneider Electric France, where she has a particular remit in sustainability.

She has general expertise in sustainability and more specific knowledge in the areas of environmental and digital transformation. This is something that Swissquote’s board of directors will highly benefit from should she be elected, the statement said.

Operating Officer Departing 

Current chief operating officer (COO) Lino Finini, will be stepping down as a member of the executive management effective 31 December to take retirement. 

 According to his Linkedin profile, Finini started his career at Swissquote in 2001 as the head of the back office for banking applications. He became an executive director and board member in June 2015 and took on the COO role in March 2019.
