Hermance Capital appointed Sara McDonald as head of sales and investor relations based in Geneva, according to a statement released on Tuesday. She is responsible for developing the firm’s business among Swiss private and institutional investors, such as private banks, family offices, and independent asset managers.
The boutique investment firm founded in 2015 by Geneva-based private banks Banque Pâris Bertrand Sturdza, Bordier and Reyl, has invested a total of more than 600 million Swiss francs ($675 million) in private assets. Hermance Capital has five investment funds focused on three distinct strategies of private equity, private debt, and private real estate.
It has just expanded its team to six full-time employees with the addition of McDonald. She began in her new role in early November when she joined from Syz Asset Management, where she worked in the capacity of head client services. She previously has worked for Lombard Odier, Bluebay Asset Management, and Gottex Fund Management.
