Ryan Nettles is leaving Swissquote, where he has been head of foreign exchange trading and market strategy for most of the last nine years, the American-born banker wrote on his LinkedIn. «After nearly 10 awesome years, I've decided to leave Swissquote to start a new venture,» Nettles said, without specifying.

Swissquote hasn't yet named a successor for Nettles, according to trade publication «Finance Magnates,» which first reported his departure. He had been responsible for trading in cryptocurrencies, which had helped lift Swissquote's profit 16 percent last year, as finews.com reported in February.
