Twelve speakers at this year’s event will examine the topic «connection» – relationships, links, affiliations – from a broad range of angles, and will inspire listeners with their experiences, approaches and insights.

One of the speakers will be Andrea Jansen, a television presenter from Bern, who will talk about the idealization of the role of mothers. Tim Lomas, a lecturer in psychology, will explain what we can learn from untranslatable words and ETH researcher Claude Garcia will speak about how games can be used to resolve environmental conflicts. Lea Suter, founder of «PeacePrints – Blogging for Peace», will look at the question of how we can overcome barriers in order to discover new ways of coexisting.

It's the third consecutive time that LGT is supporting the TEDxZurich ideas platform as a partner.
