Alexandre Sauterel joined the Geneva-based firm's investment arm earlier this month, according to a source.

The family-controlled private bank confirmed the move to finews.com.

The former Fidelity executive is Lombard Odier's new head of third-party distribution for Zurich and global financial institutions. 

Two Fidelity Stints

He was head of sales in Zurich for Fidelity for two and a half years. Prior to that, he worked as a sales executive at Invesco and as a sell-side analyst with ABN Amro Swiss bank. 

Sauterel has absolved two stints at the U.S. mutual fund manager, the first from 2007 to 2012. He left the sales head role at Fidelity last November.
