Florian Haab is joining Credit Suisse from UBS starting January 1, becoming the head of corporate client business in the newly created Zurich South market area, referring to the area at the opposite end of Lake Zurich, where two existing regions will be combined. Credit Suisse confirmed Haab's on Monday for finews.com.

Haab worked for UBS for 15 years in corporate banking with various functions in Switzerland and abroad. Originally from the insurance industry, he joined the corporate finance division, holding positions in structured finance and at the syndication desk.

Before joining Credit Suisse, Haab worked for five years as a corporate client advisor.
