Judith Albrecht takes over as the head of the lake Zurich region for private banking at Zuercher Kantonal Bank (ZKB), stepping up from her role as head of financial advisory, effective March 1, according to a statement from ZKB.
Albrecht succeeds Peter Luginbuehl, who is retiring from ZKB in the fall of next year after 25 years at the firm, leading the private banking unit since 2014.
Florence Schnydrig Moser, head of private banking at ZKB welcomed the succession, saying Albrecht «prevailed in a comprehensive application process and in a high-quality pool of candidates. Her knowledge and experience form the optimal basis to continue the function in the best possible way and to tackle future challenges.»
Albrecht joined Zuercher Kantonalbank in 2014 as chief of staff in private banking, taking over as head of sales management & personal bank in 2015. She has headed the bank's financial advisory services since 2018. She began her career in 2004 at Winterthur Insurance before joining the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a strategy consultant in 2006.
The process for Albrecht's successor in the bank's financial advisory service will start in the course of the next few weeks.
