SYZ Bank Nabs Former Pictet Exec

Geneva-based SYZ bank names Philippe Turrian as its head of client solutions and marketing and communication, reporting directly to CEO Yvan Gaillard, effective October 1, SYZ announced Thursday in a statement. Marketing & Communication was previously the responsibility of Ranjit Moses, who left the company a few months ago.

Turrian, comes from Pictet where began his career in 2010 as a project manager. In 2015, he was appointed Head of Client Solutions & Marketing, and chief operating officer of the Pictet Wealth Management Division in 2018, where he was a member of the Executive Committee. Before that, he worked at McKinsey, according to his Linkedin profile

In welcoming him to the SYZ, Gaillard said «Philippe, who has a proven track record of operational and strategic excellence, is a fantastic asset to the senior management team. His experience in the development of asset management businesses through the incorporation of marketing and sales resources will enable us to continue to build on the positive momentum we are currently continuing to build on.»

High Profile Hires

The new hire is one of several SYZ has made recently to meet its growth ambitions. 

Recent new hires include Angela Perez as head of the chief business office wealth management and Mireille Nassif, responsible for the development of the Turkish market and UHNW clients, according to SYZ.
