VP Bank Loses Top Swiss Executive

VP Bank is losing one of its best-known bankers in Antony Lassanianos, CEO of VP Bank in Switzerland. He left the institution on Monday. In response to an inquiry from finews.com, the bank confirmed the departure, stressing it was a purely personal career move unrelated to the company's 2026 strategy, with succession planning already underway.

The Zurich-based online portal «Inside Paradeplatz» was the first to report the news that Lassanianos is said to be moving to a local competitor, Liechtenstein-based LGT bank.

Responsibility for Europe

Lassanianos had been a member of the Executive Board of VP Bank (Switzerland) since 2014. In 2016, he took over as CEO of the subsidiary, which is part of the internationally active VP Bank Group. He also headed the European business at the Swiss unit.

Before joining the Liechtenstein-based institution, Lassanianos worked for Credit Suisse where he held various management positions.
