Swiss Bankers' Book Recommendations 2022

Claudio Cisullo, Founder and Executive Chairman of Chain IQ
«Pandemie und Markt» by Joseph Stiglitz
(In German)
What is the book about:
U.S. Nobel laureate economist and former World Bank chief economist Joseph Stiglitz provides extensive insights on rebuilding the economy after the global covid pandemic, including climate change, the economy and the labor market.
Why I recommend this book:

This compact publication explains very clearly how the world changed after the global pandemic, and what challenges we will inevitably face if we do nothing or get the focus wrong when it comes to reconstruction. It makes very clear why sustainable investment by private and public investors, in particular, will play an enormously important role – in ways beyond what is generally assumed.
This is not a mere trend, but a long-term necessity that can have multiple positive effects on the labor market, as well as on our environment. As an entrepreneur and investor, I always hold this opinion and can confirm with my experience in sustainable construction and green urban regeneration, how obvious and impressive the multiplier effects of sustainable investments are.
