New Swiss Head at Boston Consulting Group

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is appointing technology and digital expert Joachim Stephan to lead its business in Switzerland, according to an emailed statement Monday. Stephan will step into his new role on October 1. 

Stephan is a managing director and senior partner at BCG Zurich, where he currently leads the European technology, media and telecommunications practice. In his new position he will oversee 400 staff.

He replaces Daniel Kessler who is stepping down from the executive position in accordance with BCG’s rules which places a six year cap on the role, according to the company’s statement. Kessler will continue at the consultancy firm as head of financial institutions.
