Zurich-based Credit Suisse is hiring Andrea Cacciapaglia and Andrea Falbo in investment banking advisory (IBA), an area which serves entrepreneurs and super-rich clients, according to a statement on Wednesday. 

Both Cacciapaglia and Falbo, who are leaving local competitor UBI Banca, have been appointed as managing directors. Cacciapaglia will be focused on corporate clients from the consumer sector, while Falbo will broadly cater to clients from the technology sector.

These hires follow Paolo Testi's appointment as head of the recently-created IBA division. This is in line with a push within Credit Suisse's wealth arm spearheaded by dealmaker Vincenzo De Falco that brings investment banking services to entrepreneurs.  

The hires underline Italy's role as one of Credit Suisse's «most important markets,» the bank writes.
