BNP Paribas Nets Credit Suisse Russia Specialist
A veteran Credit Suisse banker specializing in Eastern European and Russian clients has defected to French rival BNP Paribas.
BNP Paribas has appointed Martina Stumbauer to lead the team managing the wealth of super rich clients from Central and Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States, the bank said Thursday.
Stumbauer will be based in Zurich and report directly to CEO Hubert Musseau, the press release said.
13 Years at Credit Suisse
Before joining BNP Paribas, Stumbauer spent 13 years in charge of Credit Suisse’s ultra-high net worth clients in Central Europe, and later in Russia and Ukraine.
