On May 1, 2021, Melanie Slack will assume responsibility for corporate solutions at Swiss Re in the key markets of the U.K., Ireland, South Africa and EMEA, industry magazine «Insurance Journal» reported.

In this new position, Slack will be responsible for strategy, development and performance in the corporate insurance segment. Slack has been with Swiss Re since 2001 and has held positions in Asia, the Americas and Europe.

Slack's expertise is underwriting, internal audit and public-private partnerships, the report said.
