Karim Yakhloufi is moving to Gland from Geneva to take over the Swiss-German forex desk within the sales team of Swissquote, the biggest Swiss online bank. 

He will develop the forex- and cross-asset-trading business with private clients, wealth managers, and family offices, according to a statement from the bank on Monday.

Experience From Deutsche Bahn

Yakhloufi has spent the past 15 years working in finance, with stints at online bank Strateo, a unit of Arkea Direkt Bank in Geneva. He was responsible for corporate development.

Previously, Yakhloufi was at Thomson Reuters and Deutsche Bahn, where he worked in the capacity of business consultant.
