UBS: Female Push in Eastern Europe

Caroline Kuhnert wants to strengthen the wealth management in Russia as well as Central and Eastern Europe – the banker was appointed to lead the business in the region from February, having worked as Joe Stadler’s deputy in the division catering to the very rich.

Kuhnert has now made some key appointments. That includes Elena Griffin from J.P. Morgan, who was head of wealth management in Russia at the U.S. bank. She is vice chair for the markets in Central and Eastern Europe, Greece and Israel, according to «Reuters», which referred to a memo from the bank.

Furthermore, the bank also promoted Ekaterina Lehmann, the managing director and head of family office- and ultra-high-net-worth-clients in Russia and the GUS states. She is now head of wealth management in that region.
