Stephan Eckstein joins fixed-income specialist Bluebay and becomes sales director, the company said in a statement on Monday. He will help the U.K. asset manager expand in Switzerland.

Eckstein will take charge of developing the business with financial intermediaries. He joins the team of Renato Aebi and Marc-Henrik Berthold. He will report to Roberto Valsecchi Oliva, the head of Switzerland and Southern Europe.

Eckstein joins from Schroders, where he was in charge of distribution in Switzerland. Spent almost two decades at the U.K. fund manager. Before his spell at Schroders, Eckstein had worked for Zuercher Kantonalbank.
