Hubert Orso Gilliéron joined Froriep as a partner this month, the Zurich-based law firm said in a statement on Monday. He will reinforce Froriep's Geneva team on domestic and international commercial agreements such as share and asset purchase agreements, distribution and franchise agreements as well as joint ventures in industries including luxury goods and energy.

Previously, Gilliéron was a partner with Baker McKenzie. His background is in mergers-and-acquisition legal issues as well as economic administrative proceedings, civil litigation and arbitration proceedings, and antitrust issues in particular. He has also helped with internal risk assessment and set up compliance programs for clients.
