Buero Zueri: Local Favorite 

Free workspaces from the people’s bank, for the people: Zuercher Kantonalbank caused a splash when it opened its «Buero Zueri», or Zurich Office, three years ago. The state-backed bank lends part of its Bahnhofstrasse headquarters for 20 work spots, which can be reserved online. ZKB was one of the first to adopt the concept, which has since been widely copied: Lucerne’s cantonal bank, for example, opened a co-working space last autumn, while Saxo Bank offers event space to start-ups for free.
