CS Hires Quant Expert – Plans to Build Team
If you know how to program asset-allocation algorithms there's no need to worry about your future. Computer-based investment systems, the quants, are next big thing on Wall Street.
Credit Suisse (CS), Switzerland's No. 2 bank, has now entered the fray for the best talent. It has hired Matthew Rothman, previously at hedge fund Acadian Asset Management, «Bloomberg» reported.
Team of Quant Analysts
Rothman, 50, has been charged with building a team of quant analysts, CS told «Bloomberg».
The bank is expecting a lot from quants, finews.ch has reported before. Robots are increasingly taking over on Wall Street with currently half of equity sales being transmitted via computer systems.
