Jupiter added Johanna Heeb to its staff in Zurich, making her responsible for the distribution to independent wealth managers and pension funds, the company said in a statement on Monday.

Heeb will report to Peter Ritler, the sales director Switzerland, who has been in charge of the wholesale business since February 2016.

Heeb, 34, has previously worked as senior institutional sales manager at State Street Global Advisors, focussing on institutional clients. And before that as a distribution expert for Schroder Investment Management in Zurich. She has more than six years experience in asset management.

«With her extensive market experience and expertise in the institutional and wholesale sector, Johanna Heeb is very well connected in the Swiss financial market,» said Ritler according to the release. «She is a top addition to our team.»

Jupiter's Swiss team currently comprises four distribution experts, who are part of the team responsible for Germany, Austria and Switzerland with a staff of 12.
