Pimco Expands in Switzerland

Pimco, which has $1.5 trillion in assets under management and operates 12 offices around the world, moved Davide Gysi from its Munich bureau to Zurich. He joined the global wealth management team at the beginning of the year, Pimco Switzerland confirmed.

As vice president and account manager Gysi is responsible for the relationships with banks, family offices and wealth managers in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.

Background in Investment Banking

Gysi joined Pimco Munich in 2013 and was responsible for the business with Italian institutional clients. Previously, he worked in investment banking at Société Générale and as a senior analyst at Lehman Brothers.

In Zurich, Gysi has a team of 10 and manages assets of about 30 billion francs. Juerg Rimle has been head of Switzerland for the past two years.
