Marcel Franzen, a merger and acquisitions experts who spent years working for Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, has started his own company in Zurich. Franzen & Company is specializing on merger and acquisition consultancy, capital market transactions and company strategies, according to the company's Website.

Franzen has been joined by Barbara Angehrn, a pharmaceuticals entrepreneur, Robert Springinsfeld, formerly of BNP Paribas (Suisse), Marco Novoselac, a lawyer and e-commerce businessman as well as Johann Waller, ex-UBS and Nomura.

Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Capital Group

The founder of the company has more than 15 years of experience in M&A- and corporate finance consultancy, with nine of them mainly for Swiss business clients. He started his career at Merrill Lynch in London.

Following his years in the U.K., Franzen helped build the Swiss investment business at Morgan Stanley and was deputy boss. His last company before starting his own was Swiss Capital Group, where he was a partner.
